Today’s chemical weapons attack is another shocking example of the atrocities that are happening every day in Syria. We must do more!

Thanks to your advocacy last year, the Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act of 2016 passed in the House of Representatives unanimously. Unfortunately, this bill, which would help bring an end to the attacks on civilians, didn’t pass the Senate.

The Act has been reintroduced in the House as H.R. 1677, the Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act of 2017. The Act would apply sanctions, prohibit the transfer of arms, and support the evidence gathering and investigation into war crimes, crimes against humanity, and other human rights abuses.

Help pass the bill this year, urge your Representative to co-sponsor the Act today.
